Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in large parts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while local people in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced disruption to water systems, per reports from municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was killed in a distinct assault in the southeastern region in the southern area, according to area administrators.

Russian forces has increased strikes on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while the country's government has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the United States, the EU and the major economies - in supplying protection systems and applying restrictions," was stated in a social media post.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 missiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were laboring to restore power.

A barrage of missiles hit power facilities and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Several of the people injured in the attacks on the city have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Local officials said the urban area experienced significant strikes throughout the evening. A young boy lost their life and multiple civilians were injured.

The strikes follow periods of air raids in the region, portions of which are occupied by invading troops.

The entire country is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are tougher to spot.

Authorities told journalists that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already affecting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for further attacks.
